How to Estimate your Land Tax Liability for 2012-13



1. Go to the LIST external link icon and enter the details for the address of your land.

2. Click the ‘Submit Enquiry’ button – this will open to a new screen.

3. Click the ‘Get Valuation Adjustment Factors’ button.

4. Take a note of the figure for your Adjusted Land Value – see the example below.



5. Enter the figure into the top line of the SRO land tax calculator, and click ‘calculate’ for an estimate of your land tax liability.

I own several pieces of land that are taxable. How do I estimate my combined land tax liability for 2012-13?



1. Go to the LIST external link icon and enter the details for the address of your land. Click the ‘submit enquiry’ button – this will open to a new screen.

2. Click the ‘Get Valuation Adjustment Factors’ button.

3. Take a note of the figure for the Adjusted Land Value.


4. Follow the above three steps until you have the figures for all your taxable properties.

5. Add those amounts and enter the result into the top line of the SRO land tax calculator. Click ‘calculate’ for an estimate of your total land tax liability.

Having calculated the total land tax liability for your combined properties, you may want to estimate the land tax liability for each parcel of land. Enter the Assessed Land Value of the property in the ‘Individual land value’ box and click calculate.
