You may be eligible for State grants, rebates, concessions and exemptions, relating to:
Land TaxUse the Online Form to claim a Principal Place of Residence, apply retrospectively for a Shack Land classification for the 2010-2011 financial year or reclassify property previously claimed as a Principal Place of Residence or for Primary Production. To have your land classified as Primary Production Land, complete the PPL Application Pensioner Rates RemissionHolders of a Pensioner Concession Card (PCC), Health Care Card (HCC) or Department of Veterans’ Affairs ‘Gold Card’ (endorsed with TPI or War Widow) may be eligible for a remission of council rates for their principal place of residence. The rates remission is the lesser of 30% of your rates or the prescribed maximum amount. The prescribed amounts for 2011/12 are $270 if you are a Water and Sewerage Corporation client or $397 if you are not a Water and Sewerage Corporation client. For 2012/13 the prescribed amounts will increase to $275 if you are a Water and Sewerage Corporation client or $406 if you are not a Water and Sewerage Corporation client.
