Registration for Tasmanian Businesses It is recommended that if you are a current supplier, or wish to be a supplier to the Tasmanian Government, that you register or update your company details with the ICN. To register, follow the links on the ICN website at: www.icntas.org.au. BizTas: www.biztas.com BizTas is a free service offered by the Tasmanian Government to help local businesses to succeed and become known locally, nationally and internationally. BizTas enables Tasmanian businesses to register their services in a single Internet location, providing them with worldwide exposure via the Internet in six different languages. Each business manages its own record and any changes are instantly updated. Information for government buyers With its extensive search capabilities, BizTas can also be used by Government buyers to obtain information about local suppliers. One of the key procurement objectives of the Tasmanian Government is to enhance opportunities for local businesses to do business with government. Government buyers should actively seek bids from local businesses, particularly those that have previously requested the opportunity to do so. BizTas is the ideal tool for government buyers to search for local businesses that may be able to tender or provide quotations for Government contracts.
