The Department of Treasury and Finance is undertaking a review of the Anzac Day Observance Act 1929.

To assist with the process of community consultation, two papers inviting submissions have been publicly released. The Consultation Paper was released in November 2010 and the Position Paper in August 2011. The Position Paper took into account the responses to the Consultation Paper and proposed a number of recommendations in relation to possible changes to the Act and related legislation. Submissions have now closed and are available for download (unless the author has requested that it is to be kept in-confidence), along with the Consultation Paper and the Position Paper.
