Winning Government Business is aimed at improving the ability of Tasmanian businesses to successfully compete for government business. The information presented in this section of the website is aimed at helping potential suppliers to familiarise themselves with Tasmanian purchasing rules and processes, know where to look and who to contact to find out about government business opportunities and provides useful advice and tips for success on quoting and tendering for Tasmanian Government contracts.
The Tenders website is an online source for the latest information on Tasmanian Government tenders.
Tenders can be accessed via the Purchasing website (http://www.purchasing.tas.gov.au) or directly at: www.tenders.tas.gov.au.
All State Government agencies are required to report their tenders on this website.
The Tenders site includes information on anticipated, current, closed and awarded tenders.
The Tenders site also includes a registration facility whereby registered users can:
- receive email notification of tenders in which they may be interested;
- download tender documentation; and
- where available, lodge tenders electronically.
