Embedded network customers
Electricity concessions are now available to eligible embedded network customers as an annual payment,
An embedded network is a private electricity system inside a larger site, where electricity is on-sold to residents. In Tasmania this mainly applies to retirement villages and permanent residents of caravan parks.
To be eligible for a concession, a customer must have their own meter at their home and be able to provide a bill showing metered consumption at the premises. Customers who pay for their electricity as a lump sum or have electricity costs included in rent are not eligible.
