Assessed land value

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Information about your land value is shown on the reverse of your previous land tax notice. You can also obtain it through the Land Information System Tasmania (LIST) (fees may be payable for this service).

To use the LIST, you will need your email address and password (for an existing account), or you will need to create a new account.

 

To calculate your assessed land value, you will need:

  • Land value from the LIST Property report or your previous land tax notice; and
  • Land adjustment factor from the LIST Adjusted Values report.

Land value

Obtain the land value from your last land tax notice or through the LIST by:

  • Selecting Properties and Titles from the left-hand menu.
  • Enter your Property ID or Address.
  • Click on the Search button.
  • Your property details will be presented in the Search Results table.
  • Click on the Select Products link in the Options column. 
  • Click on the Add to Cart link next to Property Report. 
  • Click on the Cart link located at the top of your screen, in the blue banner.

  • Click on the Purchase Property Report link in the Your Documents column.

  • Open the report from your Downloads folder.
  • The report will display the Last Valuations. Take note of the most recent value in the Land column.


Land adjustment factor

​Obtain the land adjustment factor from the LIST by:

  • Selecting Valuation Adjustment Factors from the left hand menu. 
  • Enter your Property ID or Address.
  • ​Click on the Search button.
  • Your property details will be presented in the Search Results table.
  • Click on the Add to Cart link next to Adjusted Values report.
  • Click on the Cart link located at the top of your screen, in the blue banner.

  • Click on the Purchase Adjusted Values report link in the Your Documents column.


  • Open the report from your Downloads folder.
  • The report will display the Land Adjustment Factor. Take note of the land adjustment factor.



​Assessed land value

To determine the assessed land value, multiply the Land value with the Land adjustment factor.
