Payroll tax and insurance duty
To lodge payroll tax and insurance duty returns in Tasmania, you will need to
register for an account on Tasmanian Revenue Online (TRO).
TRO allows payroll tax and insurance duty registrants to:
- lodge and amend monthly and annual returns;
- receive assessment notices and communication from the SRO electronically; and
- make payments.
Ensure you keep your registration details up-to-date, including updating your organisation's ownership or name details, and employment details.
