​​You do not need to register for an account to create a property transfer certificate in Tasmanian Revenue Online (TRO). Once you have created your login, the transfer certificate buttons will appear on the right of your screen. ​

​​Transfer certificates are used to collect information on the parties involved within the transaction and to keep this information hidden from other parties. They are optional. If you don't want to use a transfer certificate, the same information can be entered directly into the transaction.​
