​​1. Go to www.tro.tas.gov.au

2. Click on the New registration menu in the top right hand corner of the screen as follows:

3. Select the Register for duty transactions and/or land tax search option as follows:

4. Enter your details in the form.

5. All mandatory fields are marked with an *.

6. If you select Yes to Do you want to make your payments through TRO?:

a. Ensure you read the Electronic Payment Authority.

b. Click on the Accept button.

7. Click on the Submit button.

8. Alternatively, click on the Save Draft button. This gives you the option to access your registration form​​​ at a later date.​​
